We have had the most wonderful week!
Minnesota author and illustrator, Mike Wohnoutka, was in Albert Lea visiting our elementary schools and sharing many wonderful things about his life as an author and illustrator.
Students and teachers alike enjoyed his presentations and loved learning about his career. He is a very talented man!
Lakeview's art teacher, Mrs. Tennis, worked with students to create pieces of art in the style of Mike's illustrations. All of the artwork they created is fabulous! Don't you agree?
A huge thank you to our parent teachers organizations for giving us the opportunity to host Mike in our schools! It was an experience we won't soon forget!
