Our 4th grade Makerspace Clubs at Sibley and Lakeview have started & students are working hard to develop growth mindsets while collaborating on challenges with their classmates!
Our first session was a foundation building challenge from code.org. Students worked in groups to build a foundation strong enough to hold a large book for 10 seconds. Their materials were toothpicks and gumdrops.
Only one group out of 8 was successful, and that's okay!
